Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from all components.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir and drip tray with warm soapy water.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and place back on unit.
  4. Plug into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the system by running water through without a K-Cup pod.

WARNING! Use only with grounded outlet. Do not immerse in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Press POWER button to turn unit on.
  2. Allow brewer to heat up (approximately 3 minutes).
  3. Program brew sizes: Use BREW SIZE buttons to set preferred volumes.
  4. Set auto-off time: Press and hold AUTO OFF to select 2-hour setting.
  5. Insert K-Cup pod and brew first cup to prime system.

CAUTION! First few brews may contain manufacturing residues. Discard first 2-3 brews.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean brew needle with paper clip to remove coffee grounds.
  4. As needed: Descale when ADD WATER light flashes red.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Prepare descaling solution: Commercial descaler or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Place large container on drip tray (at least 40oz capacity).
  4. Press and hold 10oz and 8oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW to start descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  7. Rinse thoroughly by running 2-3 reservoirs of clean water through system.
