Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials: Remove all tape and protective covers.
  2. Install water filter: Rinse filter, insert into reservoir base.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Add fresh cold water to maximum fill line.
  4. Prime the system: Run water-only brew cycle without K-Cup.
  5. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not operate without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set clock: Use arrow buttons to set current time.
  2. Program brew sizes: Select preferred cup sizes (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  3. Set auto-off: Choose energy saving timeout (0-4 hours).
  4. Set temperature: Adjust brew temperature preference.

Brewing Operations

  5. Start brew: Press BREW button.
  6. Remove pod: Open holder after brewing, discard used pod.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for better temperature retention.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and clean drip tray and K-Cup holder.
  3. Monthly: Replace water filter; clean water reservoir.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator appears.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix descaling solution with water.
  2. Enter descale mode: Hold 8oz + 10oz buttons for 3 seconds.
  3. Add solution: Pour into empty water reservoir.
  4. Start cycle: Press BREW, collect solution in large container.
  5. Rinse: Run 2-3 water-only cycles to flush system.
  6. Reset: Exit descale mode; indicator will turn off.

CAUTION! Use only approved descaling solutions. Follow solution instructions carefully.

Care & Storage

Unplug and empty water reservoir before extended storage. Store in cool, dry place.
