Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Remove all packaging materials.

  1. Place brewer on stable, level surface away from heat sources.
  2. Remove water reservoir and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and replace on brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the system by running water through without a K-Cup pod.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from children.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Press power button to turn on brewer.
  2. Allow brewer to heat up (approximately 3 minutes).
  3. Lift and close brew handle to puncture K-Cup.

Brewing Process

Step-by-step brewing instructions:

  5. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5oz capacity).

Tip: For stronger coffee, use 6oz setting with dark roast pods.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Descale with vinegar or descaling solution.
  4. As needed: Clean needle with paper clip if clogged.
  5. Empty and rinse drip tray regularly.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator light appears.

  1. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug or container on drip tray.
  3. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  4. Press brew button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with clean water.
  7. Run several brewing cycles with clean water to rinse system.

Care Instructions

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe exterior with damp cloth only; no abrasive cleaners.
