Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer
  2. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water
  3. Plug power cord into grounded electrical outlet
  4. Prime the brewing system by running water through without pod
  5. Install water filter if included with your model
  6. Place mug on drip tray and ensure carafe station is clear

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow initial setup prompts on display.

  1. Initial rinse: Brewer will prompt for initial water rinse cycle
  2. Set preferences: Configure brew size, temperature, and auto off timing
  3. Brew first cup: Insert K-Cup pod and select desired brew size

Tip: For carafe brewing, ensure carafe is properly positioned and lid is secure.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray
  3. Monthly: Clean needle and exit needle
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator appears
  5. Quarterly: Deep clean brewing system

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when "DESCALE" message appears on display.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or white vinegar
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution
  3. Place large mug (at least 16oz) on drip tray
  4. Initiate descale mode in settings menu
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to complete process
  6. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water
  7. Brew and discard 2-3 cups of plain water
