Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, stable surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly
  3. Place brewer on level surface away from heat sources
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet

WARNING! Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components. Keep away from water sources.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on brewer: Press POWER button, wait for display to illuminate
  2. Prime system: Brew 8oz of water without K-Cup pod to clean internal lines
  3. Set preferences: Use MENU button to set auto-off time, temperature, clock
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place pod in holder, close handle firmly
  5. Select brew size: Choose desired cup size and press brew button

CAUTION! First brew may take longer as system primes. Do not force handle closed.

Brewing Process

  4. Place mug or carafe on drip tray

  6. Press BREW button to start brewing cycle
  7. Wait for completion - brewer will signal when done
  8. Remove mug/carafe and enjoy your beverage

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for optimal temperature retention.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth, empty drip tray
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir, descale if needed
  3. Monthly: Clean needle and pod holder area
  4. As needed: Replace water filter every 2 months or 60 tank refills
  5. Quarterly: Full descaling procedure

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when descale indicator appears or every 3-6 months.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution
  3. Place large mug on drip tray (at least 20oz capacity)
  4. Enter descale mode: Press MENU, scroll to DESCALE, confirm
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to complete descaling cycle
  6. Rinse thoroughly by brewing multiple tanks of clean water
  7. Reset descale reminder in settings menu

CAUTION! Use only Keurig-approved descaling solutions.

Care Instructions

Proper care extends brewer life and maintains coffee quality.

Use only filtered water to prevent mineral buildup. Store in dry location away from direct sunlight. Never use abrasive cleaners. Keep brewer interior dry when not in use. Replace water filter regularly for best taste.
