Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers
  2. Place brewer on stable, level countertop
  3. Remove water reservoir and rinse thoroughly
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and replace
  5. Plug into grounded electrical outlet
  6. Prime the brewing system (see First-Time Setup)

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow priming procedure.

  1. Plug in brewer - power button will illuminate
  2. Lift and close brewer handle without K-Cup pod
  3. Place mug on drip tray
  4. Press and hold 8oz brew button until brewing starts
  5. Allow water to run through completely
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime system
  7. Brewer is now ready for first use

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water. Do not use distilled water.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: Power button, Brew buttons (6oz, 8oz, 10oz), Add Water indicator, Descaling alert.

Programming: Hold desired brew size button for 3 seconds to set as default. Indicator light will flash to confirm.

Add Water Alert: Red light indicates low water level. Refill reservoir and alert will reset automatically.

Descaling Alert: Flashing orange light indicates descaling required. Follow descaling procedure.

Brewing Process

Simple 3-step brewing process.

  1. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod
  2. Close handle firmly
  3. Place mug on drip tray
  4. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz)
  5. Brewing begins automatically
  6. Remove mug when brewing completes

Tip: For hotter coffee, run water through without pod first to pre-heat system.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray
  3. Monthly: Clean needle and exit needle
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months or when descale light appears.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution
  2. Empty water reservoir
  3. Pour entire bottle of descaling solution into reservoir
  4. Fill remainder with water
  5. Place large mug on drip tray
  6. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds
  7. Brew until reservoir is empty
  8. Discard brew water
  9. Rinse reservoir and fill with fresh water
  10. Brew multiple times until solution taste is gone

Troubleshooting
