Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash removable parts: Clean water reservoir and drip tray with warm water.
  3. Fill reservoir: Add fresh cold water to maximum fill line.
  4. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the system: Run water through without K-Cup for initial setup.

WARNING! Do not use brewer without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Prime the system: Press power button, place mug, press brew without K-Cup.
  2. Program brew size: Use brew size button to select preferred cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  3. Set auto-off: Press and hold auto-off button to set 90-minute timer.
  4. Test brew: Insert K-Cup and brew first cup to ensure proper operation.

CAUTION! Handle hot surfaces with care. Brewer heats water to 192°F.

Using Your Brewer

Daily brewing procedure for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Lift handle: Open K-Cup holder by raising handle.
  2. Insert K-Cup: Place K-Cup pod in holder, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug: Position mug on drip tray.
  4. Select brew size: Choose 6oz, 8oz, or 10oz.
  5. Select strength: Regular or Bold for stronger flavor.
  6. Press BREW: Brewer will start automatically when ready.
  7. Remove mug: Carefully remove hot mug when brewing completes.

Tip: Always use fresh cold water for best tasting coffee.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and coffee quality.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean K-Cup holder and exit needle.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when DESCALE light appears.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Place large container on drip tray (at least 48oz capacity).
  3. Press and hold AUTO OFF and BREW buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  4. Press BREW to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat brew cycles until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse thoroughly by running 2-3 reservoirs of clean water through system.
