Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place reservoir on brewer and fill with fresh water.
  4. Plug into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the system by running water through without a K-Cup.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; allow to heat up (approx. 3 minutes).

  1. Press POWER button - indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Wait for READY light to turn on.
  3. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  4. Close handle firmly.
  5. Place mug on drip tray.
  6. Select cup size and press BREW button.
  7. First brew may take longer as system completes priming.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces - use care when handling.

Brewing Process

Step-by-step brewing instructions:

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and READY light is illuminated.
  2. Lift handle to open brew chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod - no need to peel foil.
  4. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  5. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5oz capacity).
  6. Select desired cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  7. Press BREW button to start brewing.
  8. Brewing completes automatically.
  9. Remove mug and enjoy.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use BOLD setting or smaller cup size.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean drip tray and K-Cup holder.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.
  5. Needle cleaning: Use paper clip to clear brew needle if clogged.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when ADD WATER or DESCALING light appears.

  1. Empty water reservoir.
  2. Mix Keurig Descaling Solution with full reservoir of water.
  3. Place large mug (16oz+) on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW button repeatedly until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir and fill with fresh water.
  7. Repeat brewing process with clean water 12 times to rinse.

CAUTION! Use only Keurig Descaling Solution.

Storage & Care

For extended storage or moving:

  1. Unplug and allow to cool completely.
  2. Empty water reservoir completely.
  3. Run brewer with no K-Cup to clear water lines.
  4. Clean all removable parts.
  5. Store in dry location at room temperature.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in reservoir.
