Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and accessories.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level counter away from heat sources.
  4. Fill water reservoir and place back onto brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not operate without water in reservoir. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Press power button to turn on brewer.
  4. Lift and close handle without inserting K-Cup pod.
  5. Select largest cup size and press brew button.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime system.
  7. Brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Use only filtered or bottled water to prevent mineral buildup.

Brewing Process

  5. Select desired cup size (S/M/L).
  6. Press BREW button to start brewing.
  7. Brewing completes automatically.
  8. Remove mug and enjoy.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean drip tray and K-Cup holder.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.
  5. Yearly: Replace water filter (if equipped).

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  2. Place large container on drip tray (at least 48 oz capacity).
  3. Press and hold 4 oz and 8 oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press brew button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with clean water.
  7. Run several brew cycles with clean water to rinse system.
  8. Descale light will turn off when complete.
