Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and insert into brewer
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet
  5. Prime the brewing system (see First-Time Use)

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming procedure.

  1. Press POWER button - LCD will illuminate
  2. Lift and close brewer handle without K-Cup to prime system
  3. Place mug on drip tray (min 5oz capacity)
  4. Select brew size using SIZE button
  5. Brew 2-3 cycles of hot water to clean system
  6. Brewer is now ready for first K-Cup

Brew Sizes: 6oz (small), 8oz (medium), 10oz (large). Auto On/Off: Program start time (2hr max delay) and auto shut-off (2hr default). Energy Saver: Reduces power between brews. Descale Indicator: Flashes when mineral buildup requires cleaning.

Brewing Process

Brews single servings using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready (green light)
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod
  3. Close handle firmly
  4. Place mug on drip tray
  5. Select desired brew size
  6. Press BREW button
  7. Brewing completes in approximately 1 minute
  8. Lift handle to eject used pod

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray
  3. Monthly: Clean needle and K-Cup holder
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator lights

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution or use vinegar/water mix
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution
  3. Run multiple brew cycles without K-Cup
  4. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water cycles
  5. Reset descale indicator (hold 8oz + 10oz buttons for 3 seconds)
