Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm soapy water
  3. Place brewer on stable, level countertop
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet

WARNING! Do not use hot water in reservoir. Ensure brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Plug in brewer - display will illuminate
  2. Press power button to turn on
  3. Lift and close brew handle without pod
  4. Place mug on drip tray
  5. Press brew button to run water through system
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime system
  7. Brewer is now ready for first K-Cup pod

CAUTION! First few brews may contain manufacturing residues. Discard first 2-3 brews.

To Program: Press MENU, use +/- to navigate, press BREW to select, use +/- to adjust, press MENU to save.

Brewing Process

Simple 3-step brewing process.

  1. Lift brew handle and insert K-Cup pod
  2. Close brew handle firmly
  3. Select brew size and press BREW button
  4. Brewing completes in under 1 minute
  5. Lift handle to eject used pod

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller brew size or brew button twice.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Wash removable parts in warm soapy water
  3. Monthly: Clean needle with paperclip
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator appears
  5. Water filter: Replace every 2 months or 60 tank refills

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when "DESCALE" appears on display.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution
  2. Empty water reservoir
  3. Pour entire bottle of descaling solution into reservoir
  4. Fill remainder with water
  5. Press HOT WATER button repeatedly until reservoir empty
  6. Let sit 30 minutes
  7. Refill with fresh water and run 12 brew cycles
  8. Descale light will turn off when complete

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution. Do not use vinegar.
