Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Place brewer on stable, level counter away from heat sources.
  3. Remove water reservoir and rinse with clean water.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh water and reinstall on brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Plug in brewer - power light will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod to prime system.
  3. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5 oz capacity).
  4. Press power button - brewer will heat water (approx 4 minutes).
  5. Select largest cup size and brew hot water only to flush system.
  6. Repeat brewing cycle 2-3 times with fresh water.

CAUTION! First few brews may have slight plastic taste - this is normal and will dissipate.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on, select cup size, insert K-Cup, close handle, press BREW. Settings: Energy saving mode (auto shut-off after 90 seconds), Water filter indicator, Descaling reminder.

Brewing Process

Step-by-step brewing instructions:

  1. Press POWER button - wait for ready light.
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5 oz capacity).
  5. Select desired cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  6. Press BREW button - brewing begins immediately.
  7. Brewing completes automatically.
  8. Lift handle to eject used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select smaller cup size. Pre-warm mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and clean drip tray and reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean K-Cup holder and needle.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when descale light appears.

  1. Prepare descaling solution or white vinegar mixture.
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug or container on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW button to start descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  7. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  8. Brew several cycles with fresh water to rinse system.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly after descaling.
