Setup and Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  2. Wash water reservoir with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly
  3. Install charcoal water filter in reservoir
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and replace on brewer
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet
  6. Prime brewing system by running water through without K-Cup

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Press POWER button - red light indicates heating
  2. Wait for green ready light (approx 3 minutes)
  3. Lift brew handle and insert K-Cup pod
  4. Close handle firmly
  5. Place mug on drip tray
  6. Select brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz)
  7. Press brew button to start cycle

  3. Monthly: Clean brew chamber with damp cloth
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears
  5. Every 2 months: Replace charcoal water filter

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Water Filter System

Charcoal water filter improves taste and reduces impurities.

  1. Soak new filter in water for 5 minutes
  2. Rinse under running water
  3. Insert into filter holder in water reservoir
  4. Snap holder closed
  5. Replace reservoir on brewer
  6. Run several brewing cycles without K-Cup to activate

Replace filter every 2 months or 60 tank refills.
