Initial Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from water reservoir and pod holder.
  2. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall securely.
  3. Plug power cord into grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Prime the system: Place mug on drip tray, lift and close handle without pod, select largest brew size.
  5. Allow brewing cycle to complete - this primes the internal pump.

WARNING! Use only clean, cold water. Do not use distilled or softened water.

Brewing Instructions

Follow these steps for perfect single-serve beverages.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button - indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Fill reservoir: Ensure adequate water level for desired brew size.
  3. Place mug: Position cup on drip tray (minimum 5oz capacity).
  4. Insert pod: Lift handle, place K-Cup pod in holder, close handle firmly.
  5. Select brew size: Press desired cup size button (6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz).
  6. Brew: Press BREW button - cycle completes in approximately 60 seconds.
  7. Remove pod: Lift handle after brewing - used pod ejects into holder.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces - avoid contact during and immediately after brewing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and beverage quality.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, and pod holder in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Run water-only brew cycles to flush system; clean needle with paper clip.
  4. Quarterly: Descale according to indicator light or every 3-6 months.

Tip: Always unplug unit before cleaning internal components.

Descaling Process

Essential maintenance to remove mineral buildup from internal components.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig Descaling Solution with equal parts water or use white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour descaling solution into empty water reservoir.
  3. Start descale: Place large mug, press POWER and BREW simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Cycle solution: Run multiple brew cycles until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse thoroughly: Fill reservoir with fresh water, run several water-only cycles.
  6. Reset: Descaling light will turn off automatically when complete.

WARNING! Do not use descaling solutions not approved for Keurig brewers.

Programming Features

Customize your brewing experience with these programmable settings.

Auto On/Off: Set automatic shut-off from 30 minutes to 2 hours after last brew. Default Brew Size: Program your preferred cup size for one-touch brewing. Temperature Control: Adjust brew temperature in 1° increments (192°F default). Strength Control: Select STRONG setting for 50% more brew time and bolder flavor. High Altitude Setting: Optimize performance above 3,000 feet elevation.

Care & Storage

Unplug and empty all water before extended storage. Store in cool, dry location.
