Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: reservoir, drip tray, and K-Cup holder with warm soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level surface near power outlet.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Keep away from water sources. Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on brewer.
  2. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod to run cleaning cycle.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press BREW button to run water through system.
  5. Repeat 2-3 times to clear any manufacturing residues.

Brewing Process

Tip: For hotter coffee, run hot water cycle first to preheat system.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray, K-Cup holder, and reservoir
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup pod
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears

Descaling Procedure

Remove mineral buildup for optimal performance.

  1. Prepare descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug (at least 10oz) on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW button to start descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  7. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  8. Run several brew cycles with fresh water to rinse system.

CAUTION! Follow descaling instructions precisely to avoid damage.

Care & Storage

Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Empty water reservoir before storage.
