Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials: Take off all tape and protective covers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Clean water reservoir and drip tray with warm water.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Add fresh cold water to maximum fill line.
  4. Plug into AC power: Connect to 120V grounded outlet.
  5. Prime the system: Run water through brewer without K-Cup pod.

WARNING! Keep away from heat sources and water. Do not immerse brewer in water.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; allow to heat up (approximately 3 minutes).

  1. Select cup size: Choose 6oz, 8oz, or 10oz based on preference.
  2. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place K-Cup in holder, close firmly.
  3. Place cup: Position mug on drip tray under brew head.
  4. Start brewing: Press brew button; brewing completes automatically.
  5. Remove pod: Lift handle after brewing to eject used K-Cup.

CAUTION! Brewer and water become hot during operation. Handle with care.

Brewing Process

Simple three-step brewing: Insert pod, select size, press brew.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and ready (solid blue light).
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (up to 7.2 inches tall).
  5. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  6. Press brew button; brewing begins immediately.
  7. Wait for brewing to complete automatically.
  8. Lift handle to eject used pod into disposal area.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller cup size setting.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and beverage quality.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir and drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Clean brew needle with paper clip if clogged.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.
  5. Yearly: Replace water filter if using filtered system.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descaling removes mineral buildup; required every 3-6 months.

  1. Prepare descaling solution: Use Keurig descaling solution or vinegar.
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug (at least 10oz) on drip tray.
  4. Enter descaling mode (if applicable) or run multiple brew cycles.
  5. Run solution through brewer until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse thoroughly: Fill with fresh water and run multiple cycles.
  7. Repeat rinse until vinegar smell is gone.

CAUTION! Follow descaling instructions carefully to avoid damage.

Care & Storage

Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Store in dry location.
