Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water
  3. Place reservoir back onto brewer
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet
  5. Prime the brewing system before first use

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from children and pets.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming procedure.

  1. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water
  2. Place mug on drip tray
  3. Press POWER button to turn on
  4. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod
  5. Select largest cup size and press BREW
  6. Repeat process 3 times to prime system
  7. Brewer is now ready for use

CAUTION! Water will be hot after priming. Use caution when handling.

Brewing Process

Simple 3-step brewing process for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod
  2. Close handle firmly
  3. Place mug on drip tray
  4. Select desired brew size
  5. Press STRONG for bolder coffee (optional)
  6. Press BREW button to start
  7. Brewing completes automatically

Tip: Use filtered water for better tasting coffee and to reduce mineral buildup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray
  3. Monthly: Clean exit needle and K-Cup holder
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when descale indicator appears.

  1. Empty water reservoir
  2. Fill with Keurig Descaling Solution or vinegar solution
  3. Place large mug on drip tray
  4. Press POWER and 8oz brew button simultaneously for 3 seconds
  5. Press BREW button to start descale cycle
  6. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty
  7. Rinse reservoir and fill with fresh water
  8. Brew multiple cycles with fresh water to rinse
