Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and place back on brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Allow brewer to initialize (may take a few minutes).

WARNING! Do not use brewer without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled and properly seated.
  2. Press POWER button to turn brewer on.
  3. Without inserting a K-Cup pod, place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press BREW button to run water through system.
  5. Repeat brewing cycle 2-3 times to prime system.
  6. Brewer is now ready for normal use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Use caution when handling.

Controls and Operation

Front panel controls: POWER button (on/off), BREW button, Cup size indicator lights.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on, select cup size, insert K-Cup pod, press BREW to start brewing cycle. Brewer will automatically shut off after 90 seconds of inactivity.

Indicator Lights: Green power light indicates brewer is on. Blue brew light indicates brewing in progress. Orange descale light signals when descaling is required.

Brewing Process

Step-by-step brewing instructions:

  1. Lift handle to open K-Cup pod chamber.
  2. Insert desired K-Cup pod into chamber.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5oz capacity).
  5. Select desired cup size (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  6. Press BREW button to start brewing cycle.
  7. Brewing completes automatically.
  8. Remove mug and enjoy your beverage.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and fresh K-Cup pods.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean K-Cup pod holder and needle.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator light appears.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or white vinegar.
  2. Fill water reservoir with descaling solution or vinegar/water mix.
  3. Run brewing cycles without K-Cup pod until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse reservoir and fill with fresh water.
  5. Run multiple brewing cycles to rinse system thoroughly.
  6. Descale light will reset automatically.
