Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: reservoir and drip tray with warm soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on counter away from edges and heat sources.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Plug in brewer - power button will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod to initialize system.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press power button - brewer will begin heating.
  5. When ready light illuminates, press brew button to run water through system without pod.
  6. Repeat brewing cycle 2-3 times to prime system completely.

CAUTION! First few brews may contain manufacturing residues - discard these initial brews.

Brewing Coffee

Simple one-touch brewing process.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and ready light is illuminated.
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod into pod holder.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (remove tray for travel mugs).
  5. Press desired brew size button (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  6. Brewing begins immediately - complete cycle takes approximately 1 minute.
  7. After brewing, lift handle to eject used pod into storage compartment.

Tip: For hotter coffee, run water through without pod first to preheat system.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and coffee quality.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and reservoir with warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that punctures K-Cup pods using paper clip.
  4. As needed: Empty used pod storage compartment.
  5. Descale: When indicator light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use vinegar solution.
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Press power and brew buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press brew button to start descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  7. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  8. Brew multiple cycles with fresh water to rinse system completely.
