Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install water filter (optional): Soak filter 5 minutes, insert in reservoir.
  4. Fill reservoir with cold water, place on brewer.
  5. Plug into grounded electrical outlet.

WARNING! Use only grounded outlet. Do not immerse brewer in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on brewer; display will show welcome message.
  2. Brew button will flash when ready.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold HOT WATER button for 30 seconds to prime system.
  5. Discard first brew of water.
  6. Brew is now ready for use.

CAUTION! First brew will be hot. Use caution when handling.

Brewing Operation

Brewing with K-Cup pods or hot water.

  1. Lift handle to open brewer head.
  2. Insert K-Cup pod (any variety).
  3. Close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Select brew size (6oz/8oz/10oz).
  6. Press BREW button.
  7. Brewing completes automatically.
  8. For hot water: Press HOT WATER button.

Tip: Use larger mugs for 10oz brew. Allow brewer to reheat between brews.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray, reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle with paper clip (unplug first).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator lights.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator appears.

  1. Empty water reservoir.
  2. Mix Keurig descaling solution with full reservoir of water.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold AUTO OFF and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW button to start descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat until ADD WATER appears.
  7. Rinse reservoir, fill with clean water.
  8. Brew and discard 12 reservoirs of clean water to rinse.
