Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level counter away from heat sources.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall.
  5. Plug power cord into grounded electrical outlet.

WARNING! Do not use brewer without water. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on brewer.
  2. Wait for READY light to illuminate (approx. 3 minutes).
  3. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Press BREW button to run water through system.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime system.
  7. Brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! First few brews may contain manufacturing residues.

Brewing Coffee

Simple steps for perfect single-serve coffee.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on brewer.
  2. Wait for READY light to illuminate.
  3. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  4. Close handle firmly.
  5. Place mug on drip tray.
  6. Press BREW button to start cycle.
  7. Brewing completes automatically.
  8. Lift handle to eject used pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller brew size with same pod.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir regularly.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  4. Clean drip tray and cup rest as needed.
  5. Remove K-Cup holder and rinse under water.
  6. Wipe needle area with damp cloth.

CAUTION! Do not immerse brewer in water or use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling

Descale when indicator light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar mixture.
  2. Place large container on drip tray (at least 16 oz).
  3. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press BREW button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir and fill with fresh water.
  7. Run several brewing cycles with clean water to rinse.

WARNING! Always rinse thoroughly after descaling.
