Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, stable surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Place brewer on level, stable countertop away from heat sources.
  3. Install water filter: Soak filter in water for 5 minutes, insert into filter holder.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and place on brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from children.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn brewer on (green light illuminates).
  2. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod to prime system.
  3. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5oz capacity).
  4. Brew 3-4 cycles of hot water only to clean system.
  5. Brewer is now ready for first K-Cup pod.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces during and after brewing. Handle with care.

Front panel controls: POWER button, 6oz/8oz/10oz brew buttons.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (green light), select brew size, lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle, press brew button.

Settings: Auto-off timing (adjustable via special sequence), Water filter reminder (reset after filter change), Descaling indicator (flashing orange light).

Brewing Process

Step-by-step brewing instructions:

  1. Ensure brewer is on (green power light illuminated).
  2. Place mug on drip tray (remove travel mug adapter if using small cup).
  3. Lift brewer handle fully.
  4. Insert K-Cup pod into K-Cup holder.
  5. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  6. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  7. Brewing begins automatically and completes in about 1 minute.
  8. Lift handle to eject used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use 6oz setting with dark roast K-Cup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth, empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and clean water reservoir, clean drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Replace water filter, clean needle with paperclip.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light flashes orange.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Prepare descaling solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution with water.
  2. Pour solution into empty water reservoir.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  5. Press 10oz button to begin descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  7. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  8. Brew 3-4 cycles of plain water to rinse system.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution. Vinegar may damage system.
