Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install water filter: Soak filter for 5 minutes, insert into reservoir holder.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh water and place back on brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on brewer: Press POWER button, wait for READY indicator.
  2. Prime system: Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod, place mug, select largest brew size.
  3. Run water through: Press BREW button, discard first full reservoir of water.
  4. Set clock: Use menu buttons to set current time.

CAUTION! Brewer will be hot after priming. Allow to cool before handling.

  4. Close handle: Firmly lower handle until it locks.
  5. Place mug: Ensure mug is centered on drip tray.
  6. Select size: Press desired brew size button.
  7. Start brew: Press BREW button, brewing begins immediately.
  8. Remove mug: When brewing completes, carefully remove hot mug.

Tip: For hottest coffee, pre-warm mug with hot water.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean pod holder assembly and exit needle.
  4. Water filter: Replace every 2 months or 60 tank refills.
  5. Descale: When indicator lights or every 3-6 months.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Essential maintenance to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution with water or use white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour descaling solution into empty reservoir.
  3. Start descale: Press MENU, select DESCALE, follow prompts.
  4. Brew: Place large mug, press BREW, repeat until reservoir empty.
  5. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, brew multiple cycles to rinse.
  6. Reset: Press and hold SMALL and MEDIUM buttons for 3 seconds to reset descale light.

CAUTION! Use only Keurig descaling solution or food-grade vinegar.

Care Instructions
