Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from all components.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install water filter: Soak filter for 5 minutes, insert into reservoir holder.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and place on brewer base.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on brewer: LCD will display welcome message.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray (at least 10oz capacity).
  3. Lift and close handle without K-Cup to open brewing chamber.
  4. Select largest cup size (10oz) and press brew button.
  5. Repeat brewing cycle 2-3 times with fresh water to prime system.
  6. Brewer is now ready for first K-Cup.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brewing cycle.

Brewing Process

Simple steps for perfect single-serve brewing.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled and properly seated.
  2. Lift handle to open K-Cup chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod and close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 4oz capacity).
  5. Select desired cup size using brew buttons.
  6. Press brew button to start brewing cycle.
  7. Brewing completes automatically; remove mug.
  8. Lift handle to eject used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller cup size with same K-Cup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth, empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, clean K-Cup holder.
  3. Monthly: Run vinegar solution through brewing system.
  4. As needed: Replace water filter every 2 months or 60 tank refills.
  5. Descale: When indicator light appears, use Keurig descaling solution.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Water Filter System

Keurig water filter improves taste and reduces descaling frequency.

  1. Soak new filter in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Rinse under cool running water for 60 seconds.
  3. Insert filter into reservoir filter holder.
  4. Snap filter holder lid closed.
  5. Replace filter every 2 months or after 60 tank refills.

Filter status can be monitored through LCD display maintenance menu.
