Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level countertop away from heat sources.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall on brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into grounded 120V outlet.

WARNING! Do not operate without water in reservoir. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on brewer - lights will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod to prime system.
  3. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 10oz capacity recommended).
  4. Select largest brew size (10oz) and press BREW button.
  5. Allow water to run through complete cycle without K-Cup pod.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to ensure system is fully primed.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Do not touch during brewing cycle.

Control Panel: POWER button, 6oz/8oz/10oz brew size buttons, Add Water indicator, Descaling alert.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (blue light), select brew size, press BREW to start cycle. Add Water indicator lights when reservoir needs refilling. Descaling alert flashes when mineral buildup requires cleaning.

Brew Sizes: 6oz for strong coffee, 8oz for regular strength, 10oz for mild coffee. Water Filter: Optional charcoal filter improves taste and reduces mineral content.

Brewing Process

Simple steps for perfect single-serve brewing.

  1. Press POWER button - brewer will illuminate.
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 10oz capacity).
  5. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  6. Press BREW button - brewing begins immediately.
  7. Brewing completes automatically - remove mug.
  8. Lift handle to eject used K-Cup pod.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir weekly with mild detergent.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth - never immerse in water.
  4. Clean drip tray and mug platform regularly.
  5. Remove and rinse K-Cup holder assembly monthly.
  6. Descale every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling Procedure

Required when descaling indicator lights or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill water reservoir with 16oz white vinegar and 16oz water.
  2. Place large mug (at least 20oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER, then press and hold 10oz and 8oz buttons for 3 seconds.
  4. Press BREW button - vinegar solution will dispense in pulses.
  5. When reservoir is empty, refill with fresh water only.
  6. Repeat brewing process with fresh water 4-5 times to rinse.
  7. Descaling complete when vinegar odor is gone.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.
