Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and place back on brewer.
  4. Plug into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the brewing system by running water through without a K-Cup.

WARNING! Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components. Keep away from water sources.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Press POWER button - brewer will begin heating.
  2. When READY light illuminates, lift and close brewer handle.
  3. Select desired brew size using programmed buttons.
  4. Press BREW button to start first brewing cycle.
  5. Program preferred settings: clock, auto-off, brew strength.

CAUTION! First few brews may contain manufacturing residues - discard first 2-3 cups.

Brewing Process

Simple three-step brewing process for perfect beverages.

  1. Lift brewer handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  2. Close handle firmly - will click into place.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select desired brew size (4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  5. Press BREW button - brewing begins immediately.
  6. Remove mug when brewing completes.
  7. Brewer automatically ejects used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For hotter coffee, run hot water cycle first to preheat system.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Run vinegar solution through brewing system.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.
  5. Replace water filter every 2 months or 60 tank refills.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when DESCALE light appears.

  1. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug (at least 10oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press and hold 4oz and 6oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  4. Press BREW button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  7. Run several brewing cycles with fresh water to rinse system.

CAUTION! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.

Care Instructions

Unplug before cleaning. Use mild detergent and soft cloth only.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners; avoid getting water in electrical components. Store in dry location.
