Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and place back into brewer.
  4. Plug into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the brewing system by running water through without a K-Cup pod.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from children and heat sources.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; allow system to initialize.

  1. Press POWER button; brewer will heat up (approx. 3 minutes).
  2. When READY light illuminates, lift handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  3. Close handle firmly and select desired brew size.
  4. Place mug on drip tray and press BREW button.
  5. For first few brews, discard initial water to clear system.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces during and after brewing. Handle with care.

Brewing Process

Simple three-step brewing process for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod into K-Cup holder.
  2. Close handle firmly until it clicks into place.
  3. Place mug on drip tray (adjust height if needed).
  4. Select desired cup size using CUP SIZE button.
  5. Press BREW button; brewing begins immediately.
  6. When brewing completes, lift handle to eject used pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use STRENGTH button or smaller cup size.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir; clean K-Cup holder.
  3. Monthly: Descale brewing system (see Descaling Procedure).
  4. As needed: Replace water filter every 2 months or 60 tank refills.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when descale light appears.

  1. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution or white vinegar.
  2. Place large mug (at least 16oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Brew into mug until reservoir is empty.
  5. Discard liquid and rinse reservoir thoroughly.
  6. Refill with fresh water and repeat brewing process 3 times to rinse.

CAUTION! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.
