Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from all components.
  2. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall.
  3. Plug into grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Prime the brewing system by running water through without K-Cup.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Prime the system: Press power button, place mug, press brew button without K-Cup.
  2. Set clock: Use clock button to set current time.
  3. Program brew sizes: Use small/medium/large buttons to set preferred volumes.
  4. Test brew: Insert K-Cup and perform test brew cycle.

CAUTION! First few brews may produce unusual taste due to manufacturing residues.

Brewing Process

Standard brewing procedure for K-Cup pods.

  1. Lift handle to open brew chamber.
  2. Insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  3. Close handle firmly until it locks.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Press desired brew size button (Small/Medium/Large).
  6. Brewing begins automatically; completes in under 1 minute.
  7. Remove mug when brewing finishes.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for optimal coffee temperature.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Clean brew chamber and needle.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when descale light appears.

  1. Prepare descaling solution or white vinegar mixture.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Place large container on drip tray.
  4. Press and hold small and medium brew buttons for 3 seconds.
  5. Press brew button to start descaling cycle.
  6. Repeat with fresh water to rinse system.
  7. Reset descale indicator when complete.
