Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level counter away from edges.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and replace on brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not use hot water in reservoir. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press power button - red light indicates heating.
  2. When ready light turns green, lift and close handle without K-Cup.
  3. Place mug on drip tray and press brew button for each size (6, 8, 10 oz).
  4. Discard water from first few cycles to clean internal lines.
  5. Brewer is now ready for regular use.

CAUTION! Do not use without water. Always use fresh cold water.

Brewing Process

Simple steps for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Press power button - wait for green ready light.
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  3. Close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Select brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  6. Press brew button - brewing begins immediately.
  7. Remove mug when brewing completes.
  8. Lift handle to eject used K-Cup pod.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean drip tray and removable parts.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light flashes.
  5. Needle cleaning: Use paper clip to clear coffee grounds from exit needle.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution or white vinegar.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press power and brew buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press brew button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  7. Run several water-only cycles to rinse system.

CAUTION! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.

Care & Storage

Unplug and empty water reservoir before storage. Store in dry location.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in reservoir. Protect from freezing temperatures.
