Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install water filter: Soak filter 5 minutes, insert into reservoir holder.
  4. Fill reservoir with cold water and place on brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming procedure.

  1. Press power button to turn on brewer.
  2. Wait for "Add Water" indicator if reservoir is empty.
  3. Prime brewing system: Place mug, select largest brew size, brew without K-Cup pod.
  4. Repeat priming process 2-3 times until water flows consistently.
  5. Brew is now ready for first coffee preparation.

CAUTION! First few brews may produce unusual taste - this is normal during initial setup.

Brewing Operation

Daily brewing procedure for perfect coffee.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and reservoir has water.
  2. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod into pod holder.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (remove tray for travel mugs).
  5. Select desired brew size using brew size buttons.
  6. Press BREW button to start brewing cycle.
  7. Wait for completion indicator and enjoy.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for optimal temperature.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Descale according to water hardness.
  4. Quarterly: Replace water filter.
  5. As needed: Clean needle with provided tool.

WARNING! Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required when descale indicator appears (approx. every 3-6 months).

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution or use vinegar solution.
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug or container on drip tray.
  4. Enter descaling mode through system menu.
  5. Brew until reservoir is empty, pausing as directed.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with clean water.
  7. Brew multiple cycles with clean water to rinse system.

CAUTION! Follow descaling instructions exactly to avoid damage.

Care Instructions

Unplug before any maintenance. Use only Keurig-approved cleaners.
