Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash water reservoir and drip tray with warm soapy water.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and insert into machine.
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime machine by running water through without pod.

WARNING! Do not use hot water in reservoir. Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components.

First-Time Use

Power on machine; allow to heat up (approx. 2 minutes).

  1. Prime system: Press ESPRESSO button without pod to flush system.
  2. Insert Rivo pod: Lift handle, place pod in chamber, close handle.
  3. Select beverage: Press desired button (ESPRESSO, LUNGO, CAPPUCCINO, LATTE).
  4. Place cup under spout; brewing begins automatically.
  5. For milk drinks: Follow prompts for frother attachment.

CAUTION! Surfaces become hot during operation. Do not touch brew chamber or frother during use.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, ESPRESSO, LUNGO, CAPPUCCINO, LATTE, PROGRAM.

Programming: Hold PROGRAM button for 3 seconds, then use ESPRESSO/LUNGO to adjust volume.

Indicator Lights: Power (green), Ready (blue), Descaling (red), Add Water (flashing blue). Energy Saving: Auto shut-off after 2 minutes of inactivity. Frother Settings: Cappuccino (more foam), Latte (less foam).

Brewing Process

Use only genuine Rivo pods for optimal performance.

  1. Ensure machine is powered on and ready light is solid blue.
  2. Lift brew handle and insert Rivo pod.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  4. Place cup under brew spout.
  5. Press desired beverage button.
  6. Brewing completes automatically; remove cup.
  7. Open handle to eject used pod.

Tip: Preheat cup with hot water for better temperature retention.

Milk Frothing

For cappuccino and latte beverages.

  1. Fill frother with cold milk to MAX line.
  2. Attach frother to machine; ensure secure connection.
  3. Select CAPPUCCINO or LATTE button.
  4. Machine brews espresso while frothing milk.
  5. Pour frothed milk into espresso.
  6. Clean frother immediately after use.

WARNING! Use only cold milk. Do not overfill frother. Clean after each use to prevent clogging.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Empty drip tray and used pod container.

Weekly: Clean water reservoir and frother. Descale when indicator light appears.

Descaling: Use Keurig descaling solution. Run descaling cycle as per instructions.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse machine in water.
