Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly
  3. Install water filter (optional): Soak filter for 5 minutes, insert in reservoir
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and place on brewer
  5. Plug into grounded electrical outlet

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from heat sources.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button, wait for READY light
  2. Prime system: Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod, place mug
  3. Select largest brew size (10 oz) and press BREW
  4. Repeat priming process 2-3 times with fresh water
  5. Set clock: Use PROGRAM button to set current time
  6. Set auto-off: Press PROGRAM repeatedly to select auto-off duration

CAUTION! First few brews may contain manufacturing residues - discard these initial brews.

Brewing Process

Simple 3-step brewing with any K-Cup pod.

  1. Power on brewer, wait for READY indicator
  2. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly
  3. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5 oz capacity)
  4. Select desired brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz)
  5. Press BREW button - brewing begins immediately
  6. Brewing completes automatically
  7. Remove mug and enjoy

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller brew size with same K-Cup pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and coffee quality.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth
  2. Weekly: Wash removable parts (reservoir, drip tray) with warm, soapy water
  3. Monthly: Clean needle assembly with paperclip to remove coffee grounds
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light appears (approximately every 3-6 months)
  5. Water filter: Replace every 2 months or 60 tank refills

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when DESCALE light appears for optimal performance.

  1. Prepare descaling solution: Use Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution
  3. Place large mug (at least 10 oz) on drip tray
  4. Power on brewer, lift and close handle without pod
  5. Press BREW repeatedly until reservoir is empty
  6. Wait 30 minutes, then rinse reservoir thoroughly
  7. Fill with fresh water and run multiple brew cycles to rinse
  8. Descale light will turn off when process is complete
