Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level counter away from heat sources and water.
  4. Plug into standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

WARNING! Do not operate without water in reservoir. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Prime the system before first use.

  1. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and place back on brewer.
  2. Plug in brewer - power button will illuminate.
  3. Press power button to turn on - brewer will begin heating.
  4. When ready light illuminates, lift and close handle without K-Cup pod.
  5. Place mug on drip tray and press brew button to run water through system.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime the system completely.

CAUTION! First few brews may taste different as system stabilizes.

Brewing Process

Step-by-step brewing instructions.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready light is illuminated.
  2. Lift handle to open K-Cup pod chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod - foil lid facing up.
  4. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  5. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5oz capacity).
  6. Select desired cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  7. Press brew button - brewing begins immediately.
  8. Brewing stops automatically when complete.
  9. Remove mug and enjoy your beverage.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller cup size setting.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir weekly with mild detergent.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth - no harsh chemicals.
  4. Remove drip tray and clean regularly.
  5. Clean needle that punctures K-Cup with paper clip monthly.
  6. Run vinegar solution through system every 3-6 months.

CAUTION! Never immerse brewer in water or use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when indicator light comes on or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill water reservoir with 16oz white vinegar and 16oz water.
  2. Place large mug (at least 16oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press brew button - descaling cycle begins.
  5. Repeat brewing until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  7. Run multiple brew cycles with fresh water to rinse system.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.
