Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash removable parts (water reservoir, drip tray) with warm, soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level surface near electrical outlet.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinsert into brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into electrical outlet.

WARNING! Do not use brewer without water. Ensure all packaging materials are removed before first use.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn brewer on.
  2. Wait for indicator light to turn green (approximately 3 minutes).
  3. Lift and close brewer handle without inserting K-Cup pod.
  4. Place mug on drip tray and press BREW button.
  5. Allow water to run through complete cycle.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime system completely.

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water in reservoir. Do not use distilled water.

Brewing Process

Simple steps for perfect single-serve brewing.

  1. Press POWER button to turn brewer on.

  3. Lift brewer handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  4. Close handle firmly until it locks in place.
  5. Place mug on drip tray (remove drip tray for travel mugs).
  6. Press BREW button to start brewing cycle.
  7. Brewing completes automatically in about 1 minute.
  8. Remove mug and enjoy your beverage.

Tip: For best results, use fresh cold water and brew immediately after heating.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and beverage quality.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, and funnel with warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean needle that punctures K-Cup pod using paper clip if clogged.
  5. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Fill water reservoir with 16 ounces of white vinegar or Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER button to turn brewer on.
  4. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod.
  5. Press BREW button repeatedly until reservoir is empty.
  6. Let solution sit in brewer for 30 minutes.
  7. Discard vinegar solution from mug.
  8. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  9. Brew and discard 12 reservoirs of clean water to rinse system.

WARNING! Always rinse thoroughly after descaling to remove vinegar taste.
