Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, dry, stable surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from all parts
  2. Wash water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water
  3. Place brewer on counter away from heat sources and edges
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach to brewer
  5. Plug into grounded 120V AC outlet

WARNING! Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components. Keep away from water sources.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on brewer
  2. Wait for READY light to illuminate (approximately 3 minutes)
  3. Lift and close brew handle without inserting K-Cup pod
  4. Place mug on drip tray and press BREW button
  5. Allow full reservoir of water to run through system
  6. Repeat process with fresh water if needed

CAUTION! Do not use without priming. First few brews may have plastic taste.

Brewing Process

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool completely
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir, lid, and drip tray in warm, soapy water
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water
  4. Clean needle that pierces K-Cup pod with paper clip monthly
  5. Run vinegar solution through monthly to remove mineral deposits

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Mix 16 oz white vinegar with 16 oz water in reservoir
  2. Place large mug on drip tray
  3. Press POWER and wait for READY light
  4. Press BREW and dispense half the solution
  5. Turn off brewer and let sit for 30 minutes
  6. Turn on and dispense remaining solution
  7. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water
  8. Brew and discard 3-4 reservoirs of fresh water

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation during descaling process.
