Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash removable parts: reservoir and drip tray with warm soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on stable counter away from heat sources and edges.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and reinstall.
  5. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Keep away from children. Do not operate without water in reservoir.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Fill water reservoir to maximum line with cold water.
  2. Place mug on drip tray (at least 10oz capacity).
  3. Press power button to turn on brewer.
  4. Lift and close brew handle without K-Cup pod.
  5. Select largest brew size (10oz) and start brewing cycle.
  6. Discard first 2-3 batches of water to flush system.

Using the Brewer

Daily brewing procedure:

  1. Ensure brewer is plugged in and powered on.
  2. Fill water reservoir with cold, fresh water.
  3. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 6oz capacity).
  4. Lift brew handle to open chamber.
  5. Insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  6. Close brew handle firmly until it clicks.
  7. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  8. Brewing begins automatically; cycle completes in ~1 minute.
  9. Lift handle to remove used pod after brewing.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller brew size with same pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool completely.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir, lid, and drip tray in warm soapy water.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean brew needle: Use paper clip to clear any pod residue.
  5. Monthly: Run vinegar solution through brewing system.
  6. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or submerge brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator light flashes.

  1. Mix descaling solution: 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water, or use commercial descaler.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Place large bowl or measuring cup on drip tray.
  4. Run brew cycles until reservoir is empty (no K-Cup pod).
  5. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  6. Run 2-3 brew cycles with fresh water to rinse system.
  7. Descaling complete; indicator light should turn off.
