Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Place brewer on clean, dry, stable countertop away from heat sources.
  3. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water.
  4. Plug into grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Prime the brewing system by running water through without a pod.

WARNING! Ensure unit is on stable surface to prevent tipping. Use only grounded electrical outlet.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Prime the system: Press power button, place mug on drip tray, press brew button without K-Cup.

Brewing Operations

Tip: Always use approved K-Cup pods. Do not use ground coffee or other pod types.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Clean drip tray and removable parts.
  3. Monthly: Run vinegar solution through brewing system.
  4. As needed: Replace water filter every 2 months or 60 tank refills.
  5. Descale: When DESCALE alert appears on display.

CAUTION! Unplug unit before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when alert appears or every 3-6 months.

  1. Prepare descaling solution: Use Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution and water (50/50 mix).
  3. Enter descaling mode: Press and hold PROGRAM + BREW for 3 seconds.
  4. Run solution through brewing system until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water and run through system 2-3 times.
  6. Reset descale alert: Press and hold PROGRAM for 5 seconds.
