All Keurig Models – General Issues

• “Prime” or “Not Ready” Message: Remove water reservoir, clean magnetic sensor, refill and reseat firmly.
• Only Brewing Half Cup: Descale immediately (see instructions below); clean exit needle with paperclip.
• Brewer Won’t Turn On: Unplug 30 seconds → plug into different outlet; check cord damage.
• Water Leaking from Top: Reservoir not seated; remove & re-insert until it clicks.

Descaling (All Models)

• Use Keurig Descaling Solution or 1:1 white vinegar + water.
• Run largest cup size repeatedly (no pod) until “Add Water” appears.
• Let sit 30 min (with power ON), then rinse with full reservoir 3–5 times.

K-Supreme / K-Slim / K-Express Series

• “Descale” Light Won’t Turn Off: Hold 8oz + 12oz buttons 3 seconds to exit descale mode after rinsing.
• Needle Maintenance: Use orange tool or straightened paperclip to clear both top & bottom needles.

K-Duo / K-Duo Plus (Coffee Maker + Single Serve)

• Caraffe Side Not Heating: Run descale on carafe side; clean metal filter in showerhead.
• Clock Keeps Resetting: Brewer must stay plugged in; internal battery only lasts ~2 years.
